KLP® Hybrid Polymer Sleeper

The revolutionary Hybrid Polymer Sleeper has been carefully designed with the environment in mind. Made from 100% recycled polymer and reinforced with two steel bars, our hybrid polymer sleepers use 35% less material than traditional solid shape sleepers. They are the perfect alternative to concrete, steel, and timber sleepers. The hybrid polymer sleepers can be supplied with either flat, or inclined baseplate areas. Thanks to their durability and superior lateral resistance in ballast, the sleepers are maintenance free and will last for over 50 years.

KLP® Hybrid Polymer Switch & Crossing Bearers

Since their introduction to the market in 2006, the polymer S&C units have secured their place as an industry staple worldwide. 

The clever design is comprised of four steel reinforcement bars completely encased and moulded into the S&C and bridge bearers for rigidity and strength.

Available specifications:

  • Cross-section ranging from:
    • 300 x 130 mm to 300 x 150 mm
  • Lengths ranging from:
    • 2,600 to 5,200 mm
  • Complete S&C units can be supplied to form lengths of up to 10,400 mm

KLP® Hybrid Polymer Bridge Bearers

Our hybrid polymer bridge bearers are the ideal choice for use on steel bridges, thanks to their sound damping characteristics and relative low weight, made up of 100% recycled polymer.

Our team of experts can work with you to create a customised specification, which can include: 

  • KLP® Bridge Bearers can be supplied to a specified height varying from 110 to 260 mm. 
  • The bearers are machined with millimetre accuracy and where required, pre-installed with fastening systems. 
  • They can be uniquely numbered and supplied as a complete set to facilitate a fast installation.
